Dear brothers and sisters,
I hope that you had an enjoyable 4th of July - and that you took some time to pray for God’s mercy on our sorely fractured nation. How much we are in need of national repentance and heaven-sent revival. Pray for these!
I do hope to see all of you tomorrow at 1 p.m. for our Haven worship service at the OPC facility in Bohemia (906 Church St.) Please pray for the presence and power of the Holy Spirit as we meet.
Attached is the bulletin for tomorrow’s worship. Use it to prepare for our corporate gathering.
Especially given the prospect that we will be in a new location (with a 9 a.m. worship time!) beginning on Sunday, September 13, it is very important that you remain for our Haven update times, i.e. 2:30 - 2:45 p.m on the Lord’s Days. There’s a lot going on this summer, and we’ll need your help and cooperation. Following that, we’ll have our Haven Food and Fellowship - outside (weather permitting).
Remember to honor the “social distancing” requirements. You may wear a mask inside if that is your desire. We will have hand sanitizer available. And I promise to wear and mask and gloves when I administer the Lord’s Supper. We’ll use our human responsibility to love our neighbors as ourselves; and we’ll trust that the Lord will protect us from harm as we obey Him by gathering for the means of grace.
Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow!
Yours joyful in the service of the Lord,
Pastor Bill
