The Lord is writing another chapter in the story of epidemics

By God’s grace we will get through this coronavirus pandemic; and, in the process, we will see the Lord’s provision in ways we never imagined. (And please let me know ways that we can help you in assisting your needy friends, neighbors, or relatives). 

If you listen to my recent radio broadcast on Iron Sharpens Iron you’ll learn that over the centuries of Christian church history (when there have been many plagues and epidemics), the heathen fled in fear, but Christians went forward in faith - showing Christ-like, self-sacrificial love to those around them.  

Through that, people SAW Christ lived out in His Church, and, as a result, many came to faith in Christ.  The stories are remarkable.  

Let’s pray and believe that the Lord is writing another chapter in that story during “the present distress”; and may all of us - and The Haven, OPC as a church - be part of it!
